The Comica CVM-WS50 handheld microphone is a quality microphone if you're looking for one for your smartphone. It was very easy to set up and connects in a second once you turn it on.
You know the receiver and the microphone are paired because you'll see a solid green light on the receiver.
On both the receiver and the microphone there is a screen to show you the battery life. Also on the receiver you can monitor the audio levels and you're about to control the output levels with a scroll wheel.
There are six different channels so you can make sure not to be on the same frequency as someone else.
Something I really appreciate is the quality case it comes with. There is a lot of cushion and space to hold your cords.
Something to take note is, it does not come with the two AA batteries needed to power on the microphone and it does not come with a lightening bolt to 3.5MM cord to connect to an Iphone.
You may want to consider purchasing another cord if you are an Iphone user and keeping one in the case. You can find the cords towards the bottom of our equipment recommendation page under "cords".
