"Let’s take a look at how Jahia can make digital experiences simpler.

Our journey begins with Viagem - they’re a travel & activities provider looking to profile their users in order to pitch them personalized experience packages.

They’ve created a new app that acts as an introductory digital touchpoint to the Viagem brand, it’s designed as a prospecting tool to give a consumer a taste of the Viagem with the ultimate goal of getting them to provide their details.

The foundations of this app leverage Jahia in order to progressively build user profiles, utilising event & property tracking to understand Viagems' audience.

The impact of this isn’t just felt within the app itself, it influences the user experience across the viagem digital portfolio, with personalized content on their core site and data being exchange across their marketing technology stack.

Let’s see in action how the Jahia DXP helps build consumer relationships and better customer experiences.

I have Viagem’s new app open on the right - I’ll progress through it as a prospect heading to vegas on business, looking to receive content catered to my work trip.

On the left is my Jahia Digital Experience Platform. I’m on the profiles page, which gives me an overview of all the users interacting with my digital product portfolio. As we progress through the app, we’ll see how these profiles are built up through events & interactions which we’ll utilise to serve them relevant content.

As you can see, I’ve got a new profile that’s interacted with my platform moments ago - this is my consumer, acting on the viagem PWA.

If I expand the profile, I can see that - for the time being - the properties are blank; we haven’t collected this type of data yet. But, if I switch over to the analytics tab, I can already see metadata around their users habits, including what kind of device they’re browsing on and their session durations.

Scrolling down, I can also see they’ve been engaged with a progression goal that I’ve setup. Let’s see what happens to this profile as I continue my journey through the app.

On this page, I’m asked to define what kind of traveller profile reflects my interests with Viagem. This is a perfectly suitable way to go about profiling your users; what’s more engaging though, is to have this categorisation happen organically through the user actions on the platform - as such, we’ll leave this page for now & come back later.

Say for example, on my business trip, I was looking for a place to take a potential client for a meal. I click into dining options.

If we refresh our profile view, we can see not much has changed except I’ve been tagged with a dining interest; this isn’t enough to change my experience or profile me as a consumer, but it is still worth tracking.

Back in my app, let’s say I progress and pick this restaurant, Raku - it’s a well known business meeting hotspot and diving this deep could be considered a clear indication that I match the business user profile.

Now, if I navigate back to the opening application page, you can see the experience has completely changed. As a consumer, all I’ve done is navigate around the application but behind the scenes, my actions are being tracked and logic is being employed so that I’m served up content relevant to my user habits.

If we switch back to our DXP and refresh the profile, we can see that it’s become even more fleshed out, with analytics comparing the different interest tags, as well as my consumer profile being placed into an audience segment.

Back on the app, I progress to the final page and fulfill the goal of Viagem journey on this digital touchpoint - completing the form and supplying them with my contact details as well as giving my consent to be added with to mailing list.

refreshing the profile, we can see that the properties have been filled out and I now have a name & email associated.

The data profile created here isn’t siloed within our app; it can be used across our entire digital experience.

This isn’t limited to your Jahia DXP; you can harness the power of stack connect, Jahia’s drag & drop connectivity hub, to build integrations to 400+ of the most popular business applications on the market.

Moving to Viagem’s core website, the experiences I'm being recommended are aligned with the app, keeping Viagems brand voice consistent across digital touchpoints.

With the Jahia DXP, web interactions become multi-channel, data-driven user experiences - Jahia makes digital simpler.
