Join us for our end-of-year Christmas Special in which we are joined by a Mighty Morphin team of Microsoft Technology Super Stars and partake in some fun technology orientated activities which will include:
1) Expert panel discussions and Q&A
Speakers will tackle some of those awkward questions you never realised you cared about. We will talk about topics ranging from Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL and many more. If you are lucky, Bob will also talk about MS Access.
2) Audience vs Panel Interactive On-line Technology Quiz Bowl
The speakers and audience will compete against each other and in an interactive technology quiz (via Kahoot) and bragging rights of becoming our 2021 champion!
3) What (technology feature) will Santa bring me for Christmas?
Our speakers will tell us what features they hope Santa will add to their stocking.
Speakers:
Niko Neugebauer is a Senior Program Manager for SQLMI at Microsoft. In his previous roles spanning over 20 years, he has helped customers successfully build, migrate and optimize Microsoft Data solutions in OLTP & OLAP markets. Niko is a community leader and has been leading the Portuguese Data Platform User Group for over 11 years having first organized the very first international SQLSaturday (#78 Lisbon). He is a regular speaker at major events, such as SQLBits, PASS Summit, etc.
Laura Graham Brown is a Microsoft Business Applications MVP and has over 20 years of experience at being passionate about training, solving problems, and loving a new challenge. I have worked with household names and clients very few will know, from the huge corporations to the small businesses, helping them make SharePoint, Flow, PowerApps, Power BI and Office solve their business needs.
Bob Duffy is a SQL Server MVP from Dublin, Ireland who is MCA, MCM and Analysis Services “Maestro” certified. Bob used to work for Microsoft Consulting Services a Senior Consultant and subject matter expert for BI/data. He now works at the Prodata SQL Centre of Excellence in Dublin, Ireland where he helps enterprise customers with design, performance tuning, benchmarking and pretty much anything to do with SQL Server or Business Intelligence on larger projects.
Johan Ludvig Brattås is a managing consultant at Capgemini, and a dedicated community guy. He has worked with MS SQL server since late 1999, mostly with BI in one form or another. The last 6 years, most of his work has been in Azure working on data platforms, Power BI and the last three years expanding to Azure IoT and Stream Analytics. Combining his passion for Microsoft SQL Server with his passion for sharing knowledge, he has spoken at various events in the SQL Community. This is also a way to give back to the community for all the things he has learned over the years. When not working, Johan Ludvig either spends his time with his kids, playing with new technology, or teaching coeliacs how to bake glutenfree food.
Gabi Münster is a Microsoft Data Platform MVP and started working with SQL Server technologies in 2005. She has been working as a BI Consultant for oh22data AG since 2010. Her areas of specialism include SSAS, SSRS and MDS. She regularly speaks at regional chapter meetings, national and international conferences and has been supporting a regional chapter as co-lead since 2016. Apart from BI topics she also supports WIT events.
