1. Test Your current Speed here: http://www.speedtest.net/
2. Open Control Panel - Device Manager - Network Adapters
Wifi - Advanced - Wireless Mode - try to switch to Different
Mode a/g - b/g has solid speed but "n" mode and "ac" is the
fastest. ( windows default setting is usually the slowest )
Once you change the mode restart your PC and check your speed again..
What if your Wireless mode missing in Advanced Options?
then your network card probably doesn't support any different mode,
Paste this: netsh wlan show interface :in your CMD and check what Speed ( receive rate ) is your Wifi Card currently supports.
If you see receive rate under 10Mbps = 1MB/s then you need to upgrade your Wireless Network Adapter Card.
Before you buy a new card check for Network Adapter updates,
if the Wireless Mode don't show up after updating, go ahead and search it on ebay it cost about $10, make sure it supports
wifi type: 802.11n or 802.11ac
( also make sure your Wifi Router supports these modes )
