Can a Marshall SV20H "Mini Plexi" Get Randy Rhoads Tone?
This is my best attempt to re-create that infamous Ozzy Mr. Crowley Tone. The TS-808 Tube Screamer that I am using in this video is modified by Analogman. The Marshall SV20H with matching Marshall 2X12 V-Type Speaker Cabinet is all stock and in my opinion one of the best amps money can buy. The intro/outro acoustic work was done on my Taylor 615-CE Jumbo Cutaway and mic'd with a Sure SM57A running through a Cloudlifter and both the mic and the guitar were plugged into a Tascam Model 12 recorder. The Gibson Les Paul Standard is an early '90's version with Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" pickups. I hope you enjoy and please like, share, and subscribe.
