X erie is an established underground techno label from Spain owned by Horacio Cruz, which has an extensive back catalogue including artists such as Alexander Kowalski, Mark Broom, Gary Beck, Tensal and more.
The seventieth release on X erie welcomes Stroc for his debut appearance, and the young Valencian talent has not only been garnering plenty of local support, but is now breaking through into the wider scene by sharpening his production skills with four new original cuts following outings on 1994 Recordings.
For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track "Siluetas" with a raw and spacey sound. Hypnotic tension and jackin' percussion lay under a muted siren used as the main lead with a stabbing bass note and a dystopian, mechanical vocal adds another layer of pressure to this rolling weapon.
