A Ride Aboard 5716
One of the last remaining few hybrids left with Port Authority/Pittsburgh Regional Transit. I decided to go out this night with a bang and sit around and capture the sounds of its engine and transmission hard at work pounding down the road. The ride itself was exhilarating from the rear perspective, I hadn't ridden in the back of a bus this old in a while due to the disposition I've had over the last year for a speedy entry and exit. The seats were extremely warm to the touch, reminding me of the days gone by when I used to ride in the back of our old 2003 and 2005 buses and the seats would accumulate so much residual heat that you would feel as though you were burning.
