UP 5426 Intermodal Stack Train South - Roth Road Railroad Crossing, Lathrop CA
(Filmed June 11, 2023) Kn this day I figured I head out to Tracy to do one crossing. On the way I stopped by here at Roth Road for what I was hoping would be ACE but they got rerouted the Oakland Subdivision as this southbound stack train had priority. You can see ACE in the background at the beginning of the video. This crossing owned by UPRR is a mixed install with the close signal being an SP late 1980s to early 1990s install with changes to its bell, lights, light heads, gate, gate lights, mechanism and counterweight arms. The far signal is a UP late 1990s to early 2000s install with changes to its gate and gate lights.
