In PTC Mathcad Prime, you can use pre-built functions such as max, min, and mean. In the following examples, you’ll see how to check for max and min functions by applying them to vectors and matrices. Units can be attached to the vectors and the result when calling the function can be displayed as chosen, with or without the units. Yet the functions can also be applied to variables or matrices, not only for vectors – and you can see this as well in the video.
The arithmetic (mean), geometric (gmean), and harmonic (hmean) means are also easy to use. Other statistics functions not shown in the video, like median and mode, may also take vectors and matrices as arguments.
Consult the Mathcad Help to see how to fill in the placeholders for each function, which is one keyboard shortcut (F1) away while using PTC Mathcad Prime. You can install the latest version of Mathcad Prime for free at https://www.mathcad.com/trial
