গজনী অবকাশ পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, ঝিনাইগাতী, শেরপুর 🇧🇩
গজনী অবকাশ কেন্দ্র বাংলাদেশের শেরপুর জেলা শহরের ঝিনাইগাতী উপজেলার কাংশা ইউনিয়নের গারো পাহাড়ের পাদদেশে অবস্থিত। এর উত্তরে রয়েছে ভারতের মেঘালয় রাজ্য। গজনী অবকাশ কেন্দ্রটি প্রায় ৯০ একর এলাকা জুড়ে বিস্তৃত। শেরপুর জেলা প্রশাসনের উদ্যোগে ১৯৯৩ সালে এটি নির্মিত হয়। এটি বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ ও উত্তরাঞ্চলের প্রধান এবং আকর্ষণীয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্র হিসেবে বিবেচিত হয়। গজনী অবকাশ কেন্দ্রে চোখে পড়বে সবুজ গাছপালার সারি, লতাপাতার বিন্যাস, ছোট-বড় টিলা, উপজাতীয়দের ঘরবাড়ি ইত্যাদি। এখানে প্রধান প্রধান গাছপালার মধ্যে রয়েছে শাল, সেগুন ও গজারী গাছ। কৃত্রিম স্থাপনাগুলোর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হচ্ছে বিশালাকার ডায়নোসরের প্রতিকৃতি, ড্রাগন প্রতিকৃতি, জিরাফ প্রতিকৃতি, , মৎস্যকন্যা প্রতিকৃতি, হাতির প্রতিকৃতি, আলোকের ঝর্ণাধারা, পাতালপুরী, পদ্ম সিঁড়ি শিশুদের জন্য চুকোলুপি পার্ক, স্মৃতিসৌধ ছোট আকারের চিড়িয়াখানা, একুয়ারিয়াম ইত্যাদি। এখানকার চিড়িয়াখানায় রয়েছে মেছো বাঘ, অজগর সাপ, হরিণ, ভাল্লুকসহ প্রায় ৪০ প্রজাতির প্রাণী। কৃত্রিম লেকের শান্ত জলে নৌ বিহারের জন্য রয়েছে সীমান্ত প্যাডেল বোট ও ময়ুরপঙ্খী নৌকা। অবকাশে বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্রাণীর প্রতিকৃতি ও গারোদের বাসস্থানের ধারণায় নির্মিত হয়েছে অমৃতলোক। অমৃতলোকের আছে গারো মা প্রতিকৃতি, উটপাখির ভাস্কর্য, ক্যাঙ্গারু ভাস্কর্য, পাখি বেঞ্চ, শিশু গার্ডেন, লাল পাহাড়, কুঁড়েঘর, ফুলের বাগান, কফি হাউজ ইত্যাদি। গজনী অবকাশে আছে ৬৪ ফুট উঁচু সাইট ভিউ টাওয়ার, ঝুলন্ত ব্রীজ, ক্যাবল কার ও জিপ লাইনিং রাইড। ক্যাবল কারটিতে উঠে কৃত্রিম জলপ্রপাতের ওপর দিয়ে এক পাহাড় থেকে অন্য পাহাড়ে যাবার ব্যবস্থা আছে। এক পাহাড় থেকে আরেক পাহাড়ে হেঁটে পার হবার জন্য নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে ঝুলন্ত ব্রীজ। বঙ্গবন্ধু ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধ জাদুঘরে রয়েছে বঙ্গবন্ধু-মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্মৃতি বিজড়িত ইতিহাস। আদিবাসী জাদুঘরে ক্ষুদ্র নৃ-গোষ্ঠীর ইতিহাস এবং আদিবাসীদের জীবনমানের নানা বিষয় তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।
I had an amazing experience at Gajni in Sherpur. Inters of landscape, the place is one of the best recreation spots in Bangladesh. However, due to poor facilities from the Tourism Department, this place is mot receiving the number of tourists it should be. An indigenous community reside at this place. You will meet some of them. Most of them are good souls. The scenes of the both sides of the roads leading to Gojni is excellent. You will have a relaxing journey. You have to go through a forest. This is the best part of the journey. The lake in the place is very beautiful. There is an observation tower. From there you can have a good view of the adjacent area. There is small Zoo at this place as well. The Garo indigenous people sell their traditional hand-loom products at a very cheap price. In short, you will spend a good day with forest, hills, lakes and birds.
