MLC PowerPoint Add-in: MERGE TEXT + SPLIT TEXT

Need to put a lot of typed pieces in one solid text box? Or maybe you need to do the opposite, and separate a big text box into a few shorter messages? Normally, this process would take some tedious copy-paste work, but you can save a ton of time with the added functionality of the MLC PowerPoint Add-in.

HOW CAN I MERGE AND SPLIT TEXT IN A FEW CLICKS IN POWERPOINT? 🤔
Have you ever found that within the same text box there are too many messages and therefore it is necessary to split the text into several boxes?
Typically, this happens with bulleted lists.
In this case, you would have to select each piece of text and copy paste it out of the text box manually.
What if you then have to do the opposite, that is, text from several boxes in one?
Too many things to do and too little time to complete them, isn't it? Unless you use the Split Text and Merge Text features of the MLC PowerPoint Add-in.
Hi, my name is Maurizio La Cava and in this video I’ll show you how to merge and split text in PowerPoint with just a few clicks.
Imagine having a bulleted list inside a text box.
This list risks boring your audience, let's turn it into a more interesting layout. Let’s divide it into four and add some icons.
To split it, select it and then click on the Split Text button inside the MLC tab. Then, add the icons you like choosing them from MLC's Graphic Library. And BAM!, here’s your slide definitely improved from before.
The Merge Text function, is complementary to the Split Text one as it merges text from multiple boxes into a single box.
To do it, select all the text boxes you want to merge and click on the Merge Text button in the MLC tab.
And that’s it! It wasn't so hard, was it?
