76. Dancing In The Dark
I have always had this extreme need to move and dance beyond explanation and I was moved when I heard the lyrics "waltzing in the the wonder of why we're here” in the song Lost in the Dark. This prompted me to explore my urge for movement and create this piece. Choreographed and performed at -150% speed, "Dancing in the Dark" was inspired by one of my favourite performances: Loie Fuller’s “Serpentine Dance”. I hope you enjoy.
