This should be the final update on the Prometric exam software tutorial. Prometric finally updated the part on the case scenario for Level 2 and 3 exams.
For the CFA Level 3 exam, in Session 1 (Constructed Response), you can copy from the Case Scenario and paste into the textbox (but just copy & paste won't get you marks in the exam).
Can you use Ctrl + F to find certain text? Prometric did not say anything on that. Guess candidates will find out on exam day
