Montana Bighorn Sheep Hunt
Levi dreamed his entire life to one day draw a tag and hunt a Montana Bighorn sheep. On his third trip into the unit, Levi and Travis were planning an eight day high country backpacking adventure hoping to see a mature ram. Taking the sheep in early season is very difficult as the rams use timber to hide themselves on intense steeps. It was one of those perfect circumstances with highs and lows and the most epic ending. Congratulations to Levi for making a great shot on a once in a lifetime trophy. The ram was at least 9 years old and will likely be the 4th largest ever to be taken in the unit.
