Reaper: Tale of a Pale Swordsman: An Analogue to History
Hexage's Reaper - Tale of a Pale Swordsman is a gorgeous 2D side scrolling fighting game originally developed for mobile devices. In this video I discuss the combat mechanics and the surprisingly profound and sophisticated story with significant analogues to the history of colonialism in the Americas.
This video is a Review, as opposed to an Analysis. Here, I only play the game one or two times, and discuss it generally. Unlike other analysis videos, this is not a comprehensive moment by moment critique of the game.
Still undecided as to what I'm doing next. I have started some other projects, but no clue which will work out or be released first.
