Kevin Currie-Knight (Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Illinois at Springfield) conducts an interview with economist Josh Hall (West Virginia University) on the public choice approach to analyzing and explaining public policy, particularly regarding education. Particular topics include how public choice theory differs from standard "public interest" explanations for policy, and how and why special interests affect legislation.
This interview was conducted as part of Mr. Currie-Knight's undergraduate course on "American Politics of Education" (Fall '14).
