Priming MDF buildings - what we use
We are asked constantly what we use to undercoat/prime our models before painting. Whilst it's not entirely necessary to 'seal or prime' our MDF kits, some paints will work better over an initial coat than others. So to this extent, we undercoat all our models in a Flat Black spray paint from British Paints Spray Easy range of cans.
These cans are found in Bunnings (Australia's major hardware chain), but I'm sure there are other similar products available to you locally. This is simply what we have found to be the best for us.
