Make Psybient Like Carbon Based Lifeforms
Psybient track like Carbon Based Lifeforms, full breakdown.
I pulled in Interloper as a reference guide and set to making a track in the style of Carbon Based Lifeforms. I didn't want to copy but instead used their sound and feel as a guide.
For the arrangement I took basic use, with the intro, a drop and then coming back in. Outside of that I made my own feel to it, with the breakdown getting a little bit trance (when you hear the piano you'll know).
I run through all of the instruments and effects and how I made them. Hope this inspires you to go out and do something similar, but remember, use them as inspiration and find your own sound :)
