Ivy is a short experimental film juxtaposing analogue film and digital film techniques combining the images and blending them together to create an addictive image.
This is part of the ongoing research into Super 8 film and the latest 4K digital imagery. Shot in B&W using Kodaks Tri-X film on a Canon 814AZ super 8 camera and Canon digital camera using the monochrome style settings for the digital images.
The film is shot in a structuralist style with strobing effects created in-camera using light sources interacting directly with the camera's sensor.
