Hi there, please read.
Now that I have a lot of free time on my hands (thank you Covid) and I graduated college (woot)! I am catching up on old ideas. I have had this in mind since 2012-ish. I heard it the other day and it just made me so nostalgic for this community and the old days, I've missed you guys! So here she is...8 years later.
Rules:
Not first come first serve, but all editors are welcome (If I don't know you, I will take a look at your editing first).
1 part per person
1 orca per person (alive or deceased)
Favorite orca & no repeats
Must be rendered in 16:9 (fullscreen) and HD
Include 1-2 seconds of footage at beginning/end of parts
Include watermark & whales name (not too obnoxious please)
Lyrics are encouraged
Make it personal to you, be unique, maybe bring back some of those old effects, use overlays, transitions, color effects, textures, vocals, or stick to what you're comfortable with - whichever, be creative & have fun with it!
