It isn't much but it is something. Kayla may not have been my favorite animal in SeaWorld's care but she was a whale I had always expected to be there? It is weird having grown up in this community, been here so long and the whales that were here, in the beginning, that helped us fall in love with SeaWorld, or orca in general, are gone. Animal care is like that. I am thankful for those who loved this individual and gave her the best care possible. She was definitely a sassy, intelligent and beautiful being and it is a shame she is gone. Farewell, Kayla.
also side note, never really noticed the beautiful swirl from her saddle.. Anyway I hope you all are taking care xx
