Climb Arapiles
After rock climbing for many years, this is my first time climbing using trad gears. And I have learnt a lot during this trip. Haven’t been climbing outdoors for a very long and it was nice to feel around the rocks and find my way to the anchor. I definitely need to climb more natural rocks in the new year! To sum up... this was a well spent holiday... spending time with friends and family, catching up with each other and doing the things that we loved (rock climbing).
Day 1: Drive from Melbourne Airport to Horsham
Day 2: Arapiles - Fang Buttress and Tiger Wall
Day 3: Arapiles - Castle Crag, Rats Alley and New Image Wall
Day 4: Grampians short hikes and sightseeing
Day 5: Drive from Horsham to Melbourne (via GOR)
Day 6: Melbourne City
Day 7: Flight home
