Does Steven Universe Future Hold Up?
It's been over a year since the limited epilogue series Steven Universe Future came out. Following directly off the coattails of the original award winning series "Steven Universe", it had large shoes to fill. Unfortunately, a lot of folks felt and still feel that it failed to deliver. Today I take a look at why I think that is, and talk about why I both agree and disagree that it failed to live up to the hype.
Future certainly had its ups and downs, all while both maintaining and subverting the original Steven Universe formula. But what exactly hurt it, and what helped it? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
