Therefore, all his civets are gentle, easy to handle, and meet domestication standards. Caring for gentle civets is also easier than caring for aggressive ones. The civet cat has other names such as: musk civet, palm civet, etc. The common civet cat is often called the spotted civet. The distinguishing feature between these two species is that the musk civet has 4-5 black stripes running along its back. According to Mr. Kien, civet cages need to meet the following conditions: They must be well-ventilated, cool in summer, and warm in winter. The cages can be made of various materials, but the floor should be made of wood, avoiding iron or steel. The size of the cages must ensure sufficient space for movement and living, and the cages should be sealed to prevent them from biting each other.
