BETTER WITH SUBTITLES
In this video, I will show you how to draw a pentagon PRECISELY using a compass and a ruler. This can be used for different variations of geometric designs and mandalas later onward. In this case however, we are focusing only on the basic frame of pentagon.
Although drawing pentagons with a compass is not as common as drawing other object, once you know how to do it properly, pentagons are relatively easy to draw.
In addition to the basic how-to part, I added some parts to show you some ideas what to do with the pentagon. That includes these:
1. plain star shape
2. custom star shape
3. combined pentagons
and so on...
There are explanations during the video. You may be able to use some methods I used in this video so please make sure to watch until the end.
Time took: 5 hours
Tools used:
ballpoint pen (black)
regular ruler
compass
Atom house presents mandala/zentangle/geometric drawings and art using pens, rulers, compass and hands. Paper used in my creation is A4-sized, just ordinary one.
It usually takes days or even weeks to finish one. I really hope I could be of any help for you guys to be creative, inspired or just have fun.
