Geometric art - How to draw a half and half design
How to draw a divided mandala / geometric art.
As I was tired of drawing regular circle mandalas, I tired to make a little difference by dividing the design into two parts: a circle part and a hexagon part using a compass and other basic tools.
Please read my instructions in the video and you might find something helpful for your work.
Tools needed:
compass
pencil
ballpoint pen
template ruler (with 2mm circles)
regular ruler
Time took:
2 hours for designing
4 hours for drawing
2 hours for editing
Atom house presents drawings using pens, rulers, compass and hands. Paper used in my creation is A4-sized, just ordinary one.
It usually takes days or even weeks to finish one. I really hope I could be of any help for you guys to be creative, inspired or just have fun.
