Holodance is a Virtual Reality rhythm game for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift + Touch and Windows VR (MR) available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/42... Usually, you do these things in VR - but sometimes, like when giving a demo to a friend who doesn't have VR experience, it's useful to pull the UI to the flatscreen (aka monitor).

This is also quite useful to create a video that shows you how you can use the UI, in particular the Music Library.

This video is used in a guide on Steam:

Contents:

0:03 Pull UI to Flatscreen: This takes the UI from VR to the monitor
0:12 Accessing the Game Settings via Music Library Settings
0:18 Accessing Finetune Gameplay (from here, you could also access Psychedelic Settings - that's where the saturation, hue-cycling, time dilation, bullet time and strobe light effects are set up).
0:20 Quick glance of Finetune Gameplay
0:31 Activating various content sources: osu!, BSMG-maps, Local Music
0:43 Shortcut to Finetune Gameplay via the Game Mechanic Presets
0:51 Music Library Info (some instructions)
0:56 Selecting Mods. This is currently supported in the arenas Zero Distraction and Trippy Tunnels
1:17 Collections (osu! collections and BeastSaber-playlists), via Quick Access
1:27 Recently Played - the top song is the last one you played, bottom is the first you played
1:42 Beatmap Details - from here, you could start a session during a demo
1:50 Favorites
1:58 Accessing the in-game Web Browser (that button will be available without having to first push the UI back to VR)
2:16 Logging in to the different sites (this is currently not possible from inside VR - but the cookies should persist across sessions, so you should not have to do this when you play again)
2:30 Opening the OS-Browser (e.g. Firefox, or Chrome) - this opens the current Website, e.g. to bookmark it, or share the link to a beatmap with friends - that feature is also available from within VR
2:53 Using the Filters
3:30 When you set the filters to strict, surprisingly, you get no results ;-)
3:36 Searching specifically for 360° maps
4:00 Using text-based search for artists, titles, genres
4:32 Adding a beatmap to the Favorites; this way, you can prepare everything before even entering VR, and then just play one favorite after the other ;-)
