This is a true 'love rock' classic -- 'If You Don't Know Me By Now'. I've started doing more background vocals on my recordings now, and on this one I recorded all of them including the main vocal. I think it turned out pretty well, I hope you think so too!
This song was originally recorded by Philly soul musical group called Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, but I think most people nowadays are more familiar with the Simply Red version. I'm a huge fan of Mick Hucknall and Simply Red, I got a ton of concert DVDs and several of his albums. His voice is so full of power and soul -- awesome.
