Erling Ellingsen sings 'When A Man Loves A Woman'
This is me singing another 'love rock' classic. I realize I just uploaded another one yesterday, but I guess I'm just in that mood. I have to excuse my AC/DC voice at the end there, but, I guess I just... 'felt the music'... right? ;-)
This song is definitely a classic. I can only imagine how many babies have been made to this song. Most people probably think of Michael Bolton when they hear this song (and that's the version I modeled this after), but it was actually recorded by Percy Sledge back in 1966, almost thirty years before Michael Bolton's legendary version.
I know that, with this recording, I'm treading where angels fear to tread. Trying to emulate what Michael Bolton does is really vocal suicide. His voice just soars above everyone else's, he's just an amazing vocalist in every sense of the word. I know I can never match that, but truth be told, I'm fairly satisfied with this version nonetheless.
While I don't expect too many babies to be made after my version, I can still hope you like it and that you will leave some feedback for me in the comments field.
