CLASS 8 - DELTAS
Deltas represent depositional features that are directly related to the interaction between fluvial sedimentation and morphological changes determined by the action of different hydrodynamic forces. This class will present the main factors controlling morphological changes in deltas, with emphasis on wave-dominated deltas. The class will be taught by Professor Thais Rocha, from the Department of Geography at UFF.
