The Lido – Valentines Park
The Project
Commissioned by Redbridge Council, the Lido in Valentines Park is the first new Lido to be built in east London in decades. This project is part of a redevelopment of leisure facilities for the people of Redbridge.
The new Lido will help boost the local market and economy and provide a sustainable and social outdoor space for the people of the Redbridge area. Additionally, the new building and its facilities will contribute to the restoration of the heritage of Valentines Park.
The construction of the Lido in Valentines Park is committed to sustainability. Therefore, Encon Associates were appointed to provide Ecological Support, Landscape Architecture, Tree Survey, Thermal Modelling, Energy Assessment, Daylight and Sunlight Analysis, Acoustic Surveys, Traffic and Transport Assessment, and BREEAM before any construction works commenced.
