Creating an application for the cloud can be an overwhelming experience. I know this firsthand because I learned how to work with the cloud the hard way – by making mistakes. In this talk, I will share my experience with designing cloud applications. I will also show you how I navigate cloud providers' offers and how I learned to approach them. Finally, I will introduce the "cloud-native landscape", which you can use to navigate the opensource projects used as building blocks for the cloud applications.
