The next-generation BMW M5 is breaking cover — and it’s far more than a facelift. Spy shots reveal a radically redesigned body that borrows heavily from the Neue Klasse concept, with a wider grille, sleek integrated headlights, and a muscle-car stance that transforms the sedan into something bolder and more aggressive.
The rear gets a sportier diffuser and tighter light design, signaling serious performance intentions.
Inside, BMW is going all-in on tech. The new M5 will feature a panoramic curved display running BMW’s latest OS X, ditching the classic iDrive controller for full touch and advanced voice controls. It's a digital-first interior aimed at delivering both luxury and futuristic functionality.
Under the hood, the hybrid V8 returns with 727 hp — but now with a lighter chassis and improved battery for better electric range and sharper dynamics. A hardcore M5 CS is rumored to push 748 hp. Launching in 2027, this will be the final gasoline-powered M5, marking the end of an era for BMW’s legendary performance line.
