It's a special day today because I used my very own Moka Pot for the first time. Based on the tutorial videos I've watched, I should not use soap to clean the pot. Hot water is enough and I should make sure that I get to clean the pot thoroughly. Also, I should not drink the coffee product until I have used the pot a couple of times.
I remember watching videos of how to brew coffee where I learned of this Moka Pot, a stove-top coffee maker that uses steam pressure to force water through a strainer. It has 3 chambers: 1) bottom chamber, that is reserved for water; 2) middle chamber, which is the filter basket holding the coffee grounds; and, 3) top chamber, which is where the brew is collected. Then what happened next? Here I am using my own pot yey!
How about you, what's your Moka Pot story? Would love to hear yours too :)
