Jarlaxle sets sail towards Grymforge on a boat. On his way, he encounters duergar guards. Using his eloquence, Jarlaxle gains their trust and reaches his destination. The duergars reluctantly accept the company, barely concealing their aversion. After circling the area and marking weak points, Jarlaxle subtly eliminates the duergars, collecting valuable items along the way. In one of the chambers, he falls into a trap as he fails to recognize the inconspicuous chests as foes - Mimics.

Джарлакс отправляется в сторону Гримфордж на лодке. По пути его встречает дергарская охрана. С помощью красноречия Джарлакс втирается в доверие и попадает в пункт назначения. Дергары принимают компанию, но с трудом скрывают свою неприязнь. Обойдя территорию по периметру и обозначив уязвимые места, Джарлакс незаметно устраняет дергаров, собирая ценные предметы по пути. В одной из комнат он попадает в ловушку, не распознав неприметные сундуки как противников - Мимиков.
