The cutter profile. Calculating the profile knife
In this lesson we will learn how to model a profile cutter in SolidWorks, which consists of a body and carbide blades. In the first part of the lesson, consider the basic geometry of the cutter: Front angle sharpening angle and back angle. The second part will start modeling and learn how to correctly simulate the profiled knives, taking into account the displacement of the blade relative to the plane of symmetry of the cutter.
