Hello! Today I'll be making Vol-au-vents (French: vol-au-vent, meaning "flight in the wind")—a savory French appetizer, a small tower-shaped pastry made from puff pastry and filled with meat, fish, or mushroom ragout. Vol-au-vents with red caviar are a classic. I used cream cheese for the filling, but you can also add any greens you like. Insanely delicious!

Ingredients:
500g unleavened puff pastry
150g cream cheese
100g red caviar
1 large clove fresh garlic
herbs for garnish (dill or parsley)
1 small egg (for brushing the dough before baking)
This recipe makes 17 vol-au-vents. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes. Fill with the filling, arrange the caviar on top. Garnish with herbs and serve!
Cover the vol-au-vents with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving. Or store the baked ones in a bag to prevent them from drying out, and fill and garnish with caviar before serving.
Thank you all for your attention! Happy New Year!!!
