Methi ka Saar/Menthya Saaru

Methi ka saar or Menthya saaru is warm winter recepie,it can be taken solo like a soup or can be used as curry with hot rice.

Meethi/Feenugreek has numerous health benefits:
Helps in Dieting.

Strong Antioxidant.

Fight Cholesterol and Diabetes.

Reduce Blemishes On The Skin.

Get Long and Healthy Hair.

Ingredients are :
1tbsp soaked methi seeds( overnight)
Fresh coriander handful
few curry leaves
few fresh coconut pieces
small piece ginger
small piece jaggery
small piece tamarind
2-3 dry red chillies
Make a paste of all the above ingredients

For tempering
1tbsp Ghee
add mustard seeds
curry leaves
urad+channa dal 1tsp
hing/Asafoetida
dry red chillies
Salt as per taste+1/2 tsp turmeric powder
and finally add Feenugreek/menthya paste
add more water.
Give it a nice boil for 5mins on low flame.
Serve hot with rice it taste really delicious 😋
