Lighter Weight-Class Sparring! (Kickboxing + Takedowns)
What’s good y’all, JoJo back at it with another one! This is a sparring session between me and another one of the guys in the lighter weight classes. At this time, besides wrestling in high school, I was pure MMA right from this gym, Brooklyn MMA, and my sparring partner has boxing, kickboxing, and taekwondo experience. I had the weight advantage, he had the experience and more refined technique, so it was a fun little matchup
You could see the improvement in my striking and defensive grappling compared to the last few sparring videos I showcased, a clear evolution in my opinion. Let me know what y’all think!
