Calling Deer Into Bow Range J.W Corbett
My Sunday hunt. The wind was 16 to 20 mph, at about 10am I got board and started grunting, I do the same grunt sequence all the time. I have called in numouse bucks doing this over the years. sometimes nothing shows up. The shot i thought was good, my confidence was high, after watching in slow motion on a bigger screen I found the the arrow hit in no man lands, just above the lungs and below the spine. Im off my game this year for archery, 2 years ago every deer I shot (4) I aimed low about 8 inches, so if they dropped they would still be smoked.
