Año Nuevo State Park
This is a coastal state park about an hour south of San Francisco. It's best known for seals and sea lion congregations in the winter. The park is about 4,000 acres and has a good visitor center/museum and a number of hiking trails. There is unspoiled and natural beach area as well.
