The Living Daylights is a 1987 spy movie that stars Timothy Dalton as the fictitious MI6 agent James Bond. It is the sixteenth James Bond film to be made by Eon Productions. The short story "The Living Daylights" by Ian Fleming, which serves as the foundation for the opening act of the movie directed by John Glen, is the source of the title. Before the 2006 sequel Casino Royale, it was the final movie to use an Ian Fleming novel's title. Additionally, Caroline Bliss replaces Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny for the first time in this movie.
