I recently attended the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2024 Women of Influence gala, a fantastic event! One of the honorees delivered this simple but powerful message: When you speak, don’t speak small. Small speaking generates small results. Speak boldly!
To add to that—bold speaking balanced with humility can be a powerful combination! Boldness gets ideas on the table, and humility keeps others engaged to make it a reality.
So, what does boldness with humility look like?
It’s proposing new ideas with passion while inviting other perspectives.
It’s making the case for change while acknowledging there’s more to learn.
It’s challenging the status quo while collaborating on solutions.
