High protein, low calories MEGA RECIPE ✅ Crispy tofu steak sticks better than meat ❗️

Hearty, crispy & vegan ✅ only 10 minutes prep time ❗️This recipe will transform your diet. Delicious hot & cold ➡️ High in protein & with a delicious marinade ⬇️ Get the recipe ⬇️

I don't eat tofu all the time, but when I do, I really love it - we do here 🤩 You have to try this recipe 👍 Here's my recommendation 💚

For the RECIPE:
for 2-3 servings
2 x 400g tofu*, pat dry
2 tbsp cornflour or starch
1/2 tsp rock salt
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil (or other oil)
Dry the tofu, then cut the blocks into fries. Place them in a bowl and mix with the cornflour, oil, and rock salt.
Preheat the oven to approximately 180-190°C, then bake the sticks on parchment paper and a baking sheet for approximately 15 to 25 minutes.
For the marinade:
Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan.
Peel 5 garlic cloves and press them.
Finely grate a thumb-sized piece of ginger.
4 tablespoons soy sauce (gluten-free is preferred).
Add lime juice (about 1 lime).
3 teaspoons erythritol, finely ground (simply blend to a powder in a blender), or sweeten with 2-3 tablespoons agave or maple syrup.
1 tablespoon tomato paste.
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika.
Water, as needed.
Add to the pan, stirring constantly while heating until the marinade is reduced. Then stir in the crispy tofu sticks from the oven.

And sprinkle with sesame seeds.

FYI:
*Tofu is generally considered a processed food, but not necessarily a highly processed food. Here's a brief explanation:
Processing steps: Tofu is created by processing soybeans, which are first made into soy milk. This soy milk is then mixed with a coagulant (such as nigari or citric acid) to solidify it into tofu. This process is similar to cheesemaking. Tofu is often pressed to remove excess liquid.
Minimally processed: Compared to highly processed foods, such as chips or convenience foods, which contain numerous additives, preservatives, colorings, and flavor enhancers, tofu is relatively simple. It usually contains only a few ingredients (soybeans, water, coagulant).
Highly processed versions: There are also highly processed tofu products, such as pre-seasoned or fried tofu, which may contain added flavorings, preservatives, and sugar. These versions can be considered highly processed.

Tofu in its natural form is therefore not highly processed and can be classified as minimally processed.
