VariCAD – Item Numbers, 2D Leaders
Item number can be defined individually as a solid attribute, or, you can define numbers of all solids or set of solids in BOM. In this example, item numbers are designated for entire assembly in BOM. If 2D is exported from 3D views, you can easily create leaders containing corresponding item numbers. Numbers are detected directly from 2D objects, as in this example. Detected value is displayed as a tool-tip near cursor. If the value is in round brackets, no corresponding item number is known and the value is designated without connection to 3D solids.
