Making a stereo turntable with built-in ceramic cartidge valve preamp
Well I decided that I want to make a record player from various bits and pieces I have, and since I'm getting into tube/valve circuits and just happen to have a BSR auto-changer deck just lying around I thought I'd make something with it. This is still a work in progress, but it doesn't sound bad, even though the cartridge is a cheapy "onehunglo" brand (as Dave on eevblog would say!).
One word of caution if you try something like this, valves do need a high voltage to work, this circuit operates on around 350 volts DC, touching the capacitors when charged can be very dangerous.
