Blue Ridge Mountains - North Carolina
The blue ridge mountains are part of the Appalachian mountains range. They offer a lot of hiking possibilities with numerous waterfalls, swimming holes. Summer is a particularly good time to visit as the temperatures rarely exceed 80 degrees. Other activities include white water rafting, mountain biking, golfing, camping, fishing, tubing, horseback riding, bird watching, zip lining, climbing and bouldering.
