Building a Bloomery furnace!
For my birthday this year, during the pandemic, I decided to do something fun and interesting! Smelt my own iron! In this video I have edited down the 6+ hour live stream of building the silly thing into a nice timelapsed process. The completed bloomery furnace was then left to dry overnight and the next day I smelted down about 40 lbs of "ore". More on that in the next videroo!
