🎧 Exploring Spatial Audio in Logic Pro
I’ve uploaded a new video where I introduce Spatial Audio inside Logic Pro and walk through how it works in practice. I start with a simple explanation of object-based and channel-based audio, then move into a hands-on demonstration of a short mix.
I’m using Vaults Beta from Crowhill Company for the musical material and Vienna MIR 3D for the immersive reverb. The video shows how depth, width, height, and movement can shape a mix and give it far more presence and realism.
The audio is mixed in binaural, so headphones will give you the best experience.
In the video I cover:
• What Spatial Audio actually is
• Object-based vs channel-based approaches
• How to set up a Spatial Audio project in Logic
• How Vienna MIR 3D shapes three dimensional space
• How Vaults Beta responds inside an immersive environment
• How these tools connect to the future of Atmos and spatial formats
If you are curious about immersive sound or looking to develop your own spatial mixes, I hope you find it useful. Feel free to comment, ask questions, or share any thoughts. I’m always interested in how people are approaching this area.
