The @allstarchorus is working on Dance by @roberttgibson for our concert. I began teaching the vocal percussion during our summer retreat and some of the students were like “we can’t make these sounds” - so I taught the rest of the song leaving the vocal percussion out - this time when I taught the vocal percussion I started with sounds I knew they could make comfortably- then added elements from the actual score- when we actually got to the score they were able to confidently sing their vocal percussion parts💕 - that’s a win!
